At the end of the IFE Meet & Greet, we co-hosted a Virtual Fastener Bash & Trivia Contest with Cris Young of Fastener News Desk. Celebrity guest, Carmen Vertulo, asked the questions and prizes were donated by myself, Fastener News Desk, Volt Industrial Products, LINK Magazine and Solution Industries. Participants connected to the contest through their phones and answered the questions in real time and we immediately knew the results at the end of the contest. It went off better than I might have expected and was actually a lot of fun. For those who missed the quiz, here are the questions that were asked by Carmen. Later I plan to post a copy with the answers highlighted.

What a great trivia contest!
I didnāt respond because I was only a Show owner partner from 1981-2016 and donāt know a lot of the answers to the technical and mechanical questions about fasteners and current Presidents of various fastener organizations.
Thanks for putting this together.
My 35 years of co-owning and managing the National Industrial Fastener Show was and still is one of the highlights of my soon-to-be 85 year old life.
Best Regards and Happy Thanksgiving to All,
Jim Bannister
If you want call me and we can discuss it in detail I have every back issue of Fastener Technology which reported on the show back then
To set the record straight The first IFE show was held November 1983 in Atlanta GA was owned by MacBrooks and Ray Zirkle from the IFMSA who put on the event for many years. The IFMSA approach Jim Bannister and Mike McGuire to represent the machinery section of their show. When emerald bought it we represented for two years and mutually agreed to end the relationship at that time Emerald took the name from the IFMSA
I cannot verify this statement from Doug Zirkle but I thought it was an interesting comment.
