To my knowledge, this is the only “official” networking event at the Vegas Fastener Show – as opposed to other “social events”. Regardless, I went last year and thought the YFP did a very nice job organizing the event – especially for their first attempt. You will spend a few minutes at each table with a small group of people and then after a set time you will be prompted to move to the next table where you will meet the next group. Not every person you meet will necessarily be a great business connection, but there will be a few, at least. And while you only meet for a few minutes with each group, you can exchange cards and follow up the next day at the show with those individuals that are great connections. I’m planning to go again and hope to see you there.
Join us for an afternoon of networking!
Hosted by Young Fastener Professionals, this speed networking event will be conducted Round Robin format which will enable quick, focused opportunities to meet those who can potentially enhance your career and business, alike.
Sponsored by The Olander Company, Lindstrom & Star Stainless Screw Company this event is the only networking function of the week’s activities and a healthy turnout is expected.
If you intend on attending, please pre-register for free, here. Room capacity is expected to be reached, so please register soon to guarantee admittance.
TS –
I’m not as young as the YFPers, but this event received rave reviews from all who attended last year, so I’ll be there.
Of course, the Buckeye Fasteners booth, #840 will have the Old Rusty Bolt flowing on the show floor, so that’s another networking event of sorts. I won’t be missing that one either.
