Dude. Cut me slack. I googled about 100 pictures of rusty bolts and most of the looked...well, like rusty bolts. But none looked like something you'd want to put on a beer bottle. This picture kind of has a cool, western, rustic look...not a rustbelt, unsanitary look. So forgive me. And I commend your for your astute observation. Reply to this

Just curious Joe. I just checked out your web site and it led me to a site for Florida real estate. Good looking site and all but are you also involved in the fastener industry?? If not, how did you stumble on to this site? Reply to this
A great place to look for photos is flickr.com. You just need to check out the Creative Commons categories and how it works, but most of the people allow others to use their photos as long as you attribute it to them, and they tend to be more artsy than what comes up in a google image search. Try here to see what I mean http://www.flickr.com/search/?q=rusty+bolt&l=4 Reply to this

Silly! Keep the blog focused on business. I like and support Fastener Talk, but let's keep it professional. Like this: Online registration for the National Industrial Fastener Show/West, November 8-10 in Las Vegas is now available online at www.fastenershows.com. We already have 624 booths sold . . . which is larger than the 2009 expo and we expect to have nearly 700 booths before Show time. See you in 'Vegas! Reply to this

Awe Jim, we're just having a little bit of fun. I've gotten to know quite a few of the Fastener Talk readers personally and I'm just sharing a little bit. Even when I'm screwing around I've got fasteners on my mind. I'm not sure if that means I am focused or screwed up.
And, there is a lot of fastener news that I report on. In fact, I think I am going to have a very exciting guest blogger contribute in the next few days that will bring a tremendous amount of professionalism to the site.
I will continue to report the fastener news and allow others to comment. But, this is not a news site. It's an unsponsored blog. I would invite and I appreciate all the readers who choose to log on to fastenerblog.net. But if they don't like what's here, there are plenty of other places they can visit online. Reply to this

I am very involved in the fastener industry. I just entered the 'joe' stuff because I did not want to register my name and email in a public site. I am much more willing to communicate via email and phone. I'd be more than happy to send you my contact information if you have a private address. Reply to this

TS - I love it! See if you can set up a booth at NIFS-W.

I'd like a quote on:
100
1,000
10,000
100,000
500,000
1,000,000
And, if I get the order I want to buy 100 for the 1,000,000 piece price.
