Las Vegas Fastener Show

Always trying to add value to this website -- I just booked a room for the Vegas show at Excalibur for $31/night.  And no, I do not have to sleep in the broom closet or with Joan Rivers or anything.  That was the online price.

Hope I just saved you some money.  And, who says this blog site is worthless??

I stayed at Excalibur during the show last year. It was fine...just a short walk to the Mandalay shuttle. No fire-breathing dragons or black knights blocking the exits. The Luxor was a little cheaper last time, but Anthony M. has an issue with sideways-traveling elevators. Come to think of it, so do I. The ancient Egyptians had their share of innovators, but none of them were named Otis. Thanks for the tip.

I have been receiving the blog e-mails from traveling salesman for some time now. I know this is not the correct thread to ask a questions, but it's all I have.

I am looking for a specific fastener and cannot find a manufacturer here in the states (thus far). Is there as centralized source to find such information, or must I go to a fastener show and ask every exhibitor ?

    Thank you

Can you tell us more about what kind of part it is?  I am about certain there are people reading this that can get you answers before any show.  If you want to send me information on the part send me another note and I will not post it on the blog.  If you want a lot of people to look at it, let me know and I'll post whatever information you want.  FYI, your note does not get posted until I approve it.  That keeps the "F" bombs and other nice stuff off the site!

I just learned today that Al Graf, CEO of National Standard Parts Associates (NSPA), Pensacola, Florida, passed away recently.
Al is the former President of National Standard Parts Associates and was a big supporter of the National Industrial Fastener Show ever since its beginning nearly 30 years ago in Columbus, Ohio.
Al's company has been a loyal exhibitor with us for many years and will be found in booth 806 at the West Show November 16-18 in Las Vegas.
I regret that I don't have any further information but I am certain the folks at NSPA would. Contact Brooks Endacott .
The industry has lost a good man.
